The 2021 season opener provided some hilarious content from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown, who gave a shout-out to “Boomin’ University”.
NFL players are usually shown next to a subtitle saying their name and what university they went to. Antonio mixed it up a bit by creating a new university of his choice.
Although it was hilarious, many fans of the sportsman are desperate to know whether he did go to a college called “Boomin’ University” or where in the world this came from.
Antonio Brown’s viral “Boomin’ University” intro explained
Boomin’ University is a fictional University but Antonio does have a deeper link to the Boomin’ name. In 2017 he took to Instagram to debut a song with his company, Boomin Productions.
Antonio Brown’s rap career was on the rise after he released a music video entitled Whole Lotta Money last year. However, it seems his music career has slowed after some negative comments on the song. Of course, he has his American football career to focus on, which is going from strength to strength.
Antonio has been very successful in sports and, in only his second NFL season, he became the first player in NFL history to have made more than 1,000 yards receiving and returning in the same year.
Born on 10 July 1988, Antonio is 33 years old and is from Miami, Florida. He is the son of Arena Football League player Eddie Brown, sporting prowess clearly runs in the family. Instead of going to “Boomin’ University” he actually went to Central Michigan University and was later selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers as wide receiver.
Antonio has five children. He has a son and daughter from a previous relationship, Antonio Brown Jr and daughter Antanyiah. In 2011, he started seeing Chelsie Kyriss and the couple have three children together, Autonomy, Ali, and Apollo.
