Following the death of beloved bassist Chris Squire in 2015, White became the longest-remaining member of the British prog rock band. Yes were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2017.
In a social media post, the band stated: “Alan White, our beloved husband, dad and grandpa, passed away at the age of 72 at his Seattle-area home on 26 May 2022 after a brief illness.”
