Adam Weitsman is an entrepreneur and chief executive of his own privately run scrap metal processing company Upstate Shredding – Weitsman Recycling.
The company was founded in 1938 by his grandfather, Ben Weitsman. Adam Weitsman started working for the family run company in 1996 and acquired the business in 2005. Over the years, he has built the company to more than 17 sites nationally.
Away from the metal scrapping industry, Weitsman has become known for his many celebrity connections.
On his Instagram, where he has more than 10 million followers, Weitsman has posted selfies with the likes of Jake Paul and Lil Uzi Vert, while his daughter Clover interviewed former president Donald Trump.

According to sources online, the Upstate Shredding chief executive has an estimated net worth of $1.2 billion.

Who is he married to?
Adam Weitsman’s wife of 15 years is Kim. They have been married since 2006 and have three children, daughter Clover and twin girls Monroe and Rae.
Kim, who owns several restaurants with her husband, is known for running Skaneateles, New York, eatery The Krebs.
The couple, who live near the restaurant, bought it after they found out it was closing. Kim and Adam reopened the venue in 2014 and donate its profits to local charities.
