She was born in Glastonbury, Connecticut on 19 June 1963, where her mother worked as a waitress and her father owned a car wash.
Ingraham studied at Dartmouth College and became the editor of a right-wing student newspaper called The Dartmouth Review. She also has a law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.
She is the host of the Ingraham Angle on Fox News, which covers the day’s latest news stories and some more controversial topics from time to time. As part of her coverage, Ingraham often speaks to everyday people affected by the decisions made in Washington.
From 2000 on, Ingraham ran her own radio show which had over five million listeners per week.
