Who is Michael Regan’s wife Melvina?

Michael Regan’s wife, Melvina, is the global talent acquisition operations manager for Hong Kong tech giant Lenovo.

She has held this post for over a year, based in Morrisville, North Carolina.

Before working for Lenovo, Melvina earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. After graduation, she went to Radford University, where she achieved a Master of Science in Industrial/Organisational Psychology in 2001.

According to a professional endorsement on her LinkedIn profile, Melvina is “proactive and tireless”, and a “never ending learner”.

Her Bloomberg profile also states that she was once the Vice President of the North Carolina branch of Keystone Partners.

Melvina’s Twitter bio reads: “Mom | Wife | Believer | North Carolinian | Lover of Eastern NC BBQ”. She has previously posted in support of St Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. 

Melvina lives with her husband Michael Regan and their son Matthew in Raleigh, North Carolina.

According to The Telegraph’s “America’s 10 best cities to live in” (2017), Raleigh, conjoined with neighbouring Durham, is one America’s most liveable cities.

It makes the list “because of a booming local economy” and plenty of job opportunities”. More importantly, however, it has a “buzzing craft-beer scene”.

Regan chosen for EPA administrator

Michael Regan assumed the role of Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality on 3 January, 2017.

He previously worked with the Environmental Protection Agency’s air quality and energy programs under Clinton and Bush.

President-elect Joe Biden announced yesterday, 17 December, that Michael Regan would join his cabinet as administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency. If confirmed, Regan would be instrumental in delivering the new administration’s climate agenda.
