However, Blue Jays wonder kid Vladimir Guerrero Jr stole the show.
Vladimir hit a 468-foot home run deep into the Coors Field bleachers for the game’s loudest moment and was named the game’s MVP.
Guerrero Jr’s home run marked the 200th in All-Star game history and made him the second-youngest player to homer in the All-Star game.
Guerrero Jr, at 22 years and 119 days, is the youngest MVP winner in an All-Star game too.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr is the son of Hall of Famer Vladimir Guerrero. Vladimir Sr is a nine-time All-Star, AL MVP 2004 and eight-time Silver Slugger winner.

Vladdy Jr took time to pay homage to his father at his All-Star game debut by wearing a custom-made glove with a photo of the two of them sporting matching Expos gear from the early 2000s.
Towards the end of the third, Vladdy Jr revealed the family resemblance when he slugged home a 468-foot moonshot just 15 years after Guerrero Sr went deep at the Midsummer Classic off of Brad Penny.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr’s mother is Riquelma Ramos. Vladimir often credits a lot of his success in his career to his mother.
Riquelma Ramos was previously married to Vladimir Guerrero Sr.
The couple divorced not long after Vladimir Jr’s birth on 16 March 1999.
