How to find ‘Add Yours’ stickers on Instagram

The only way to find ‘Add Yours’ trends is to find someone else who has used the sticker on their Instagram Story and tap it.

Then, the text prompt or template will be automatically applied to your screen and you can upload your own images.

Sadly, Instagram hasn’t introduced the ability to find trending stickers more quickly using a search bar yet.

If you can’t find someone else who has used the ‘Add Yours’ sticker, you won’t be able to take part in the viral trend.

The only thing you can do is create your own ‘Add Yours’ sticker or template with the same design or text prompt.

This will create a new shared sticker which won’t be related to the original one at all, but others can then add to it.

How to create your own ‘Add Yours’ sticker

  1. Upload a new photo to your Instagram Story
  2. Click on the smiley face inside a square
  3. Tap ‘Add Yours’ or ‘Add Yours Templates’

‘Add Yours’ lets you create a sticker with a text prompt, while ‘Add Yours Templates’ lets you add any elements to the sticker.

What to do if ‘Add Yours’ doesn’t work

Sometimes, Instagram doesn’t let you click ‘Add Yours’ due to a really annoying glitch. If that’s happening to you, here are some possible fixes:

  • Check for updates: The first thing you should do is make sure you’re using the most recent version of the app.
  • Close the app: Try completely shutting down your app next. On an iPhone, do this by swiping up on your homepage.
  • Log out of the app: Logging out of the app and then logging back in again could fix your ‘Add Yours’ issue.
  • Turn your phone off: Its the oldest trick in the book, but sometimes all youve got to do is turn your phone off and on again.
  • Delete your app: You could also try deleting your app and then re-downloading it again from the App Store.
