Starbucks unveils 2024 Halloween merchandise range, and one mug is already causing a stir
Starbucks has pulled back the curtain on its 2024 Halloween collection, with the coffee shop providing customers with an array of merchandise based on the iconic fall holiday.
As the leaves change color each year, brands bin their remaining summer stock to replace it with merchandise in all shades of orange, brown, and spooky. We’ve already been clued in on the upcoming Dunkin’s release, and now it seems Starbucks is hot on the trail.
Halloween at Starbucks is set to be the spookiest yet
Though we already heard rumors of the Starbucks Halloween launch earlier this month, the coffee shop unveiled its official merchandise in a press release on Friday.
First up was the Purple Potion Glow-in-the-Dark Cold Cup which comes in both 16 oz, for $14.95, and 24 oz for $29.95. It’s a deep shade of purple with green flecks and is designed to hold just about any cold drink you could imagine. Starbucks is also selling a keychain version, though this won’t hold liquids in case you were wondering.
If you are a fan of the Starbucks reusable plastic cups, then Halloween will be a great season for you as the coffee shop updates the design with scary iconography. Each of the six 16 oz cups, which are sold for $19.95, carry different bright colors with unique pumpkin images.
Perhaps the most stylish of the selection was the Obsidian Ooze Cold Cup for $22.95, which is made from metal with a sleek black finish. The lid has a sort of oozing design, which naturally adds to the Halloween vibe.
Undeniably the crowning jewel of the collection was the Iridescent Luster Skull Mug, which Starbucks fans are already pining for online. For just $16.95, you could be sipping your 14 oz coffee from a metallic silver mug that’s shaped like a skull. What’s not to love?
Halloween is about more than ghosts and ghouls though, so you might instead opt for the Extraterrestrial Cold Cup with Spaceship Straw Topper that comes complete with a UFO-topped straw. The design itself is less dark than the rest of the collection. The 24 oz cup is priced at $29.95.
Last, but certainly not least, was the Multicolor Jack O’ Lantern Tumbler, which holds 16 oz. It’s decorated in the same patterns as the six-pack of cups, which of course means you need to buy it all for the complete set.
It’s a big week to be a coffee fan
Later this week, Starbucks is also set to release the second wave of its fall beverages menu, which earlier included yummy pecan drinks.
For part two of the release, it’s believed that Starbucks will be rolling out the Iced Pecan Oatmilk Crunch and Salted Pecan Cream Cold Foam
