Wild elephants crash couple’s pool party in the ‘craziest experience’ ever
Experiences with wildlife are one to remember forever and a couple’s vacation took an unexpected turn when they were greeted by elephants.
Of course, coming face-to-face with wild animals isn’t as thrilling or adventurous always. The scary story of a hiker who got dragged by a grizzly bear for several feet is just one of many such nerve-wracking incidents. But the wild elephants made polite guests.
Elephants show up uninvited to a pool party
The video in question was posted by the YouTube channel, We Love Animals, in May, which has since been viewed millions of times. The incident reportedly occurred in Zimbabwe.
The viral clip depicts a couple whispering into the camera as they had the “craziest experience” ever, before showing the beautiful and intelligent creatures only a few feet away.
The unnamed couple was in a private pool when wild elephants emerged from the surrounding forest to give the tourists a little visit.
The man and the woman in the video remain calm as the wild animals do their thing – dipping their trunks in the pool and staring at the humans inside it.
One of the elephants continued to look at the couple while drinking from the pool as the woman shared on camera that the water level reduced by at least two inches.
“This is the craziest experience that I think I have ever experienced in all of my experiences,” the man whispers.
The couple expected to get sprayed by the surprising pool party attendee, but the animal clearly seemed unbothered by the humans in the same pool.
Users praise couple’s reaction to wild animal
Not only did they manage to capture the once-in-a-lifetime moment, but the couple remained calm and composed without agitating the wild elephants.
In fact, the University of Utah Health recommends against screaming or running when you encounter a wild animal while offering other essential safety tips that can save your life.
Commenting on the couple’s reaction, one user said: “I like the couple very much. They were quiet let the elephant do its thing.” Another added: “I have never been so jealous in my life. That is AMAZING!!! What an AWESOME experience!.”
A third person said: “This couple left the elephant alone, so the elephant saw that they weren’t a threat, which put the big animal at ease. It even playfully splashed a little water at them.”
