All 6 cups to collect in McDonald’s new Collector’s Meal inspired by past collaborations

McDonald’s has just announced a brand new Collector’s Meal which comes with one of six cute retro cups.

The cups are all themed around past McDonald’s collaborations, bringing a sense of nostalgia to the fast food chain.

McDonald’s new Collector’s Meal

The Collector’s Meal is launching across the US on August 13, available via the McDonald’s App, in-restaurant and the Drive Thru.

It’s available all day and there are three different ones to choose from:

  • Sausage�McMuffin with Egg, hash brown and hot coffee (during breakfast hours)
  • 10-piece Chicken McNuggets with fries and a soft drink (throughout the rest of the day)
  • Big Mac with fries and a soft drink (throughout the rest of the day)

When you order one of these three meals, you will get a collectable cup for free while stocks last.

6 different cups to collect

The cups allow you to “create new memories inspired by past, iconic collectables,” McDonald’s said in a press release.

They are clear, plastic cups with different animations on each side and there are six to collect:

  • Barbie & Hot Wheels:�This cup puts a fresh spin on the famous Mattel dolls with a scene set in the mountains as Hot Wheels cars race around a nighttime track on the other side.
  • Beanie Babies: A throwback to the Teenie Beanie collaboration of 2004, featuring some of their most beloved characters, like Golden Arches Bear.
  • Coca-Cola: A modern twist on classic Coca-Cola designs that celebrates numerous iconic collaborations with McDonald’s over the years.
  • Hello Kitty & Peanuts:�Hello Kitty and Snoopy combine on this cup, which embodies the joy�of being with our best friends.
  • Shrek, Jurassic Park & Minions:�Inspired by the iconic film franchises, this one highlights unforgettable scenes and characters we’ve loved for generations.
  • McDonald’s:�The final cup features so much McDonald’s nostalgia from The Grimace Glass to Boo Buckets and Funny Fry Friends.

The promotion comes as McDonald’s is testing a new Big Arch burger which could be their biggest burger ever, far larger than a Big Mac.

Relive the joys of Happy Meals

The new Collector’s Meals are essentially an adult Happy Meal, allowing you to relive the joys of collecting the toys as a kid.

“There’s an undeniable thrill when you snag that one elusive McDonald’s collectible or the final piece to complete your collection. We’re bringing back some of our most-loved keepsakes with a twist, giving fans a memory that they can hold in their hands,” said Morgan Flatley, Global Chief Marketing Officer and Head of New Business Ventures at McDonald’s. 

“These new collectible cups commemorate some of our most unforgettable designs and global collaborations over the years, allowing longtime fans to relive treasured moments and helping a new generation make their own lasting memories.”

The Collector’s Meals and cups will be available for a limited time while stocks last.
