Beauty influencer urges brands to start using unique packaging idea thatis perfect if you have ADHD
A makeup influencer urged makeup brands to follow Lottie London’s example by launching products that also double as fidget toys.
In case you were unaware, fidget toys became the must-have item around 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic. Though arguably anything can be a fidget toy, business is booming and is expected to hit nearly $2 million by 2030.

The lip gloss that doubles as a fidget toy
UK fashion and beauty influencer Sophie (@Sophdoeslife) is no stranger to sharing unique products with her 500k followers on TikTok and 1.42 million subscribers on YouTube.
Taking to her TikTok account in February, Sophie confessed to being fixated on the Twisted Heart Love Glaze from Lottie London. The lip product is a double-ended wand, offering users two colors that can also be combined for a “super glossy result.”
I hope that other brands will see this and make products that double up as fidget toys. This Lottie London little lipgloss is a love heart but it also goes back to a regular shaped lip gloss, the makeup guru said. You can put it in your bag then play with it, spin it, its really quite satisfying.
The lip gloss itself comes with two separate sides, a red gloss and a clear one. Though Sophie did say the applicators were tiny, she was pleased by the apricot scent of the gloss.
Cute. Thats actually a really nice color, she concluded.
Many of Sophie’s followers saw the gap in the market as many admitted to frequently playing with their makeup products like fidget toys.
One person wrote: “I like to play with the Byoma milky moisture cleanser lid. Its so easy to come off and the noise is sooo satisfying.”
“I play with my Huda lipsticks a lot. The magnet lids make spinning it with one hand in my pocket kinda fun if Im anxious. I want this and Im really not a gloss girl,” another person said.
Do fidget toys work?

Fidget toys in all their forms have countless applications for improving the lives of everyday people. For one, they can be great tools to help cope with Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Fidgets give the user an opportunity to give their hands or bodies something to do, and allows their brain to then focus on the task at hand, such as listening to a teacher or reading,” said Bridget Gilormini, director of mental health platform PACER.
Fidget toy users have also reported using the handy devices for grappling with anxiety, channeling their focus, and keeping themselves busy in stressful situations.
