Group of chimps lose their minds as man shows off his prosthetic leg at the zoo
A man with a prosthetic leg was the star of the show at Colchester Zoo as a whole group of chimpanzees interacted with him through the glass.
Jess Collinson (@jjcollinson) recently visited the Colchester Zoo with her husband and two young boys. While stopping by the ape exhibit, her husband had a captivating experience with the zoos chimpanzees.
The chimps were obsessed with his prosthetic leg

Taking to TikTok earlier this week, Jess posted the clip alongside the caption: Chimps checking out my husband’s Prosthetic Leg!!! #chimpanzees.
The video started with the family standing in front of the window, with one ape visible and separated from the rest of his family. Almost immediately after flashing him the prosthetic leg, the chimp backed up and began to make some noise. Soon enough, a lighter chimp joined him.
By the end of the short clip, almost all of the enclosures inhabitants were pressed up against the glass, captivated by the mans prosthetic leg.
Since Jess posted, the video has accumulated over 5.2 million views, half a million likes, and hundreds of adoring comments.

Many of the content creators followers took to the comments to suggest he should have taken off the leg. Others simply shared their marvel at how smart the animals are.
