At Natural Products Expo West on Tuesday, PLEZi Nutrition teased the upcoming release of their new line of beverages. While previous product lines have focused on fruit juices, the three new drinks will challenge the popularity of the fizzy drinks world.

As per the press release, the PLEZi Nutrition fizz drinks will come in Cherry Limeade, Lemon Lime Squeeze, and Strawberry Lemonade. They also contain 70% less sugar (8g per 8.4oz) than leading soft drink brands which have 28g per 8.4oz.

They will be available to purchase from Amazon and select convenience stores across the nation.

“I’ve dedicated so much of my life to helping kids and families lead healthier lives. As First Lady, I worked to rally every sector of society toward this goal,” said former First Lady Michelle Obama. “While I’m proud of all we accomplished during those years at the White House, I’ve also learned that to truly push the food and beverage industry to do better by our kids, you have to work from the inside. I’m thrilled to build on those efforts through PLEZi Nutrition as we work to drive change throughout the entire food and beverage industry.”

The reviews for PLEZi Nutrition are pretty good

Though the verdict is still out on the PLEZi Nutrition Fizz drinks, reviews for their standard range are glowing, to say the least.

One person wrote on Amazon: I find this PLEZi juice as a great option to offer to my kids when they ask for juice but we want to avoid all the sugar and artificial ingredients most of the kids juice have. I love they do not add sugar, use real fruit juice and the kids liked the flavor (we tried the blueberry one). Bottle is also attractive for kids. The price isnt also bad considering this is not the standard fake juice.

I really like the taste of this fruit punch kids drink. It is tart and refreshing. The apple juice flavor is dominant, but you do get a hint of miscellaneous tropical fruit flavors too, someone else said.
