Starbucks’ Spring Menu launches with two new lavender drinks
Starbucks has just unveiled its Spring 2024 Menu, which features two sweet new lavender-flavored drinks.
The new menu is available from today (Thursday, March 7) for a limited time this season, while supplies last.

Starbucks launches Spring Menu
“Starbucks welcomes spring with the debut of two new beverages, the Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha and Iced Lavender Oatmilk Latte,” the chain said in a press release.
The Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha features Starbucks’ iconic smooth and creamy matcha with oatmilk. It’s served over ice and topped with lavender cream cold foam, which creates “sweet and subtle floral notes”.
Its gorgeous bright green color combined with the purple hue screams spring, reminiscent of a sprig of real lavender.
If you’re more of a coffee person, the new Iced Lavender Oatmilk Latte combines Starbucks Blonde Espresso with creamy oatmilk, ice, and the same “sweet and subtle floral notes of lavender”.
Starbucks beverage developer Patrick Penny said lavender is the “perfect flavor to transition us from the winter season into spring”.
“Its soft sweetness, light floral notes and beautiful color ignite feelings of rejuvenation and awakening associated with the change of seasons,” he added.

Another lavender drink was rumored
Rumors online said the Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha and Iced Lavender Oatmilk Latte were arriving with a third floral drink, but that’s nowhere to be seen.
Instagram user Markie Devo, who shares all kinds of food secrets, posted a photo of a Lavender Crme Frappuccino which he claimed was from a Starbucks employee.
“Sweet and subtle notes of lavender blended with vanilla syrup, milk, and ice, topped with whip cream,” he said. “A delicious blend of floral lavender and sweet vanilla in every sip.”
Perhaps the drink could be coming at a later date, but for now there are just two new beverages on the spring menu.
While Starbucks drinks aren’t usually the healthiest, lavender actually has many surprising health benefits and has long been used for medicinal purposes.
Spring cups have arrived
Starbucks’ new spring merchandise has also arrived this week, and it’s “blooming with color” in a variety of adorable pastel shades.
The Pastel Tie-Dye Cold Cup is sure to be a hit, a mint green tumbler with hues of yellow and pink running through it.
There’s a stainless-steel Gradient Orange Sherbet Cold Cup too, which embraces the colors of a spring sunset.
Plus, the incredible Seafoam Green Shell Cold mimics the way the tide looks as it comes in and seafoam appears.
Other cute options include a Pastel Pink Curved Mug, shining Metallic Magenta Cold Cup and Iridescent Glass Water Bottle.
