Woman convinces boyfriend she bought pre-peeled bananas in silly prank
A woman has gone viral on TikTok after convincing their husband she bought pre-peeled bananas from the store.
The prank has existed on the app for years and never fails to entertain as it’s such a simple concept – but just so funny.
Pre-peeled bananas prank
In the viral video, the woman peels some bananas, wraps them in cellophane and puts them in the cupboard. She then asks her boyfriend to make her a protein shake, so he gets out all the ingredients and starts making it.
The guy opens the cupboard where the bananas are kept and says “What the hell? What did you do to the bananas?” as he sees the wrapped fruit. She quickly explains that she bought them like that, pre-peeled.
“You bought it like this?” he says in disbelief, but he isn’t having any of it and is convinced she is setting him up at first.
However, she keeps up with the lie, saying she thought buying pre-peeled ones would save him time in the mornings. He stares at the fruit and squeals “Like what two seconds?” before getting angry at the stupid fake product.
“They paid someone to take it out of a natural container and put it in a fake container? This is more work. Look at this. This is more work,” he exclaims – and then gets even more frustrated when she says they were more expensive than regular ones.
“Oh they’re more expensive? So they take me longer. That’s so riduculous. I don’t even know if this is food,” he said. “Babe, can you please just get normal banana pieces.”
However, he finally clocks on to the prank at the end, saying “That’s your glad wrap”. You can watch the whole video here.

The TikTok video has had more than 2.6 million views and people think it’s totally hilarious.
