Dairy Queen launches new Confetti Dipped Cone that ‘tastes like funfetti cake’
Dairy Queen has just launched a brand-new menu ice cream for spring – the Confetti Cake Dipped Cone!
The fast food chain always releases a new flavor to celebrate the season, and this one’s already going down a treat.
Dairy Queen’s Confetti Cake Dipped Cone
The Confetti Cake Dipped Cone launched at some Dairy Queen locations on Monday (February 26), but others aren’t getting it until March.
It consists of “Cold, creamy DQ vanilla soft serve cone covered in a confetti cake flavored cone dip,” the description reveals.
The limited-edition white cone dip is supposed to mimic cake batter, with bright multi-colored sprinkles running through it.
In a viral TikTok video, a Dairy Queen manager said the exciting new flavor “tastes just like a funfetti cupcake”.
Previous spring cones include Cotton Candy, Orange Dreamsicle, Fruity Blast and Churros, but she said this is her favorite.
‘It’s absolutely amazing’
People are going crazy for the new flavor, which is similar to the Cake Batter Cookie Dough Blizzard which launched last summer.
The ice cream pot featured Dairy Queen’s cake batter flavor soft serve mixed with confetti cookie dough pieces and sprinkles.
One person wrote on TikTok: “Had this today and it’s absolutely amazing.”
“Omg I need this,” said another.
A third person added: “That looks delicious.”
“We’ve got to try this,” said another.
Another new Dairy Queen menu item
Dairy Queen has also launched a new savoury menu item this week – Honey BBQ & Parmesan Garlic Chicken Strips!
The 100% all-white meat chicken strips are tossed in your choice of parmesan garlic or honey BBQ sauce.
“Indulge in the rich and creamy parmesan garlic sauce, as it perfectly complements the subtle flavor of our chicken strips,” Dairy Queen said.
“Or, if your taste buds crave something a little sweeter, our honey BBQ sauce delivers a delectable balance of sweet and savory flavors.”
The chicken strips are served in a basket which comes with fries, Texas toast and your choice of dipping sauce.
