A fun personality test by CakeResume is going viral for showing what type of cake you are to find your ‘ideal job role’, and social media users are hooked to it.
The unique quiz asks you a set of questions while taking you on an adventurous “job hunting” journey, before revealing what type of dessert you are and which job role suits you the best.
How to do the ‘What Cake Are You?’ personality test
The Cake Personality Quiz, created by Ooopenlab, can be found on its official CakeResume website or its Instagram account of the same name.
Once you start the test, you’re taken the “Job Hunting Village”. You are required to answer a set of questions by picking one of the multiple choices below.
The questions are related to your criteria for finding new jobs, such as, if you’re looking to upskill or if you’re into an interesting experience, how would you navigate complicated situations at work what you expect of your new role, and more.
After answering all the questions, select “Check out my destined role” to find out what cake you are.
You can share your final result across social media by simply downloading it.
What the quiz results mean
The results tell you what type of cake you are and highlight your strengths alongside a “Job Search Guide” with a few more details.
For instance, my cake personality is macaroon and there are 9% of people with the same personality type.
My colleagues think I am “pleasing and fresh” like a colorful macaroon and I “bring fun” to the table even if the job is tedious. I am also a 65% workaholic.
The job search guide recommends creative roles for me where I can put my imagination to the test, such as media, design, and artist.
The fun quiz also reveals what cake types make your work besties and desserts that ate “just coworkers”.
