Mean Girl podcast host addresses ex-husband Graham Bennetts kiss cam moment
Mean Girl podcast host Alex Bennett addressed a viral Reddit thread that seemingly suggested her ex-husband, Graham Bennett, had been videoed smooching on a sports game kiss cam.
Alex, alongside Jordyn Woodruff, is most well-known as the co-host of the former Barstool Sports podcast, Mean Girl. Following a controversy in 2023, their podcast was axed and they are now represented by Just Media.
It all began in 2023
Last year, culture brand Barstool Sports was experiencing a series of lay-offs which both Alex and Jordyn were initially safe from. However, after joking about the layoffs and seemingly developing an attitude problem, they were let go.
“Her contract was up, so it was in the midst of whether we were going to renew it. I was not happy in light of everything going on around here with layoffs and the speeches Ive given, Dave Portnoy, of Barstool Sports, said at the time. “When I heard that story, it was not what I wanted to hear. I do like Alex a lot. I dont know Jordyn nearly as well as I do Alex.
In November, Alex confirmed that she had been separated from her husband Graham Bennett for five months. The two had moved to several cities together, but the relationship became rocky when he moved back to Oklahoma and she stayed in New York City.
The Mean Girl podcast addressed the Graham Bennett kiss
In a new episode of the Mean Girl podcast, a portion of which was uploaded to TikTok on Monday, Alex addressed a notable Reddit thread that talked about Graham being involved in a kiss cam at an Oklahoma City Thunder game. Graham is the son of the teams owner, billionaire Clayton Bennett.
The team of Mean Girl had received a tonne of DMs about the since-deleted Reddit thread, and so decided to address it on air.
Some of the comments seemed to say it was a planted Reddit thread from someone who maybe lives in Oklahoma city, Alex explained. I dont know as I didnt see the Reddit threads.
The issue lies with the fact that Alex had previously said that the powers that be knew not to put Alex and Graham on the Oklahoma City Thunder kiss cam.
They know not to put us on it, Graham allegedly told her.
Though neither Alex nor Jordyn said it was a deliberate jab , they did acknowledge the optics of the situation.
