Tributes pour in for Queen Lizzie as TikTok star passes away

Queen Lizzie, whose real name was, Teresa Smith, has passed away. The news regarding the TikTok star’s death was confirmed by her daughter yesterday.

She went by the handle @Queenzzielocthevoice on TikTok. Her impeccable singing skills and comical chops had turned her into a fan favorite, having accumulated over 700,000 followers on the video-sharing platform.

TikTok star Queen Lizzie passes away

The eldest daughter of Queen Lizzie, Yolundria Rooks, is raising funds on GoFundMe to cover the cost of the funeral and invest the rest in her younger siblings after her mother’s passing.

The description of the fundraiser states the TikTok star “suddenly passed away”, without revealing the cause of her death.

Yolundria said, her mother wanted to be taken to her home in Macon, Georgia on passing and be buried next to her son who passed away at the age of 15.

The fundraiser has collected $12,000 with $42,00 as more than 800 people have come forward to help the Queen Lizzie’s family. If you wish to donate, you can do it here.

Fans saddened by her death

Queen Lizzie’s fan following was attributed to her unique talent to make her fans laugh wholeheartedly. Millions of people turned to her account for THEIR daily dose of laughter and the TikTok star’s death has left them devastated.

Some of the most viewed videos on her channel are of her duets with fellow TikTokers as they sang trending songs in their respective styles.

One fan wrote: “You made me laugh so much on TikTok and I would reference and quote your videos all the time. I am so saddened by your passing. May you rest peacefully. You will be missed so much.”

“Queen’s videos brought joy to me and so many people around the world,” said another.

A third fan said: “Thank you for blessing me with your beautiful voice, I love you so much rest peacefully queen.”
