A recent survey revealed that around 40% of men feel their mums take better care of them than their partners when they are sick.

Men do love their mums

In a poll conducted by OnePoll, in association with MDLIVE, researchers delved into the habits of both men and women when they are sick. Of the 2,000 participants, 43% of men said their mums take better care of them than their partners and 58% added that they missed the days of motherly care. In contrast, only 35% of women agreed with the statement.

In fact, women are more likely to want to be left alone completely. 53% of them begged for alone time, compared with 47% of men. Men were also more likely to seek attention on social media.
