Most chaotic fashion show ever features models stumbling over gigantic balloons

A runway has been dubbed the most chaotic fashion show ever after models struggled and fell under hordes of brightly colored balloons.

The fashion world, the one outside of everyday use, is one drenched in mystery, splendor, and often, confusion. What makes something fashionable is often lost on us mere mortals, but still, the powers that be thrust them into the limelight with words like visionary, genius, and the future.

A fashion show for the ages

On Wednesday, Danes stepped out in Copenhagen, Denmark, to visit the runway show of London-based fashion house Paolina Russo.

While most fashion shows see the models walk, rather emotionlessly, in a straight line, this fashion week show opted for something a little more avant-garde. And by avant-garde, we mean completely bonkers.

Models become tangled up in hordes of animal and sun-shaped balloons, which Vogue said was meant to represent a modern take on monolithic carvings.

We wanted to make our own Neolithic-like cul-de-sac; our own Paolina Russo suburb, Paolina Russo told the fashion magazine.

Models were wrapped up in balloons, falling on the floor, and at one point, one was even lifted up in an attempt to untangle them. The rather exaggerated movements do seem to suggest that the fumbles were intended. The exact reason is lost on us.

Social media couldnt stop laughing at the fashion show

Footage of the show found its way onto TikTok after @viinikainenjere posted the hilarious clips onto his page alongside the caption: Thank you @Zalando & Paolina Russo for such a fashion show.

Okay, so I could have paid to get in there and mess with those balls. Looks like fun! someone wrote in Finnish.

Clips were also featured on Instagram, where one person joked: I love fashion but this is absurd.

Maybe Fashion Is Truly Dead, another person wrote, while a third added, How do people get funded for this.
