Trader Joe’s steps up its Korean food game with delicious Beef Bulgogi with pineapple juice
Trader Joe’s seems to have become the go-to destination for quintessential Korean food thanks to the Beef Bulgogi that’s “too good” to resist.
The traditional Korean dish marinated in pineapple juice (yes, you read that right) has garnered rave reviews for its “delicious” and “sweet” taste.
Trader Joe’s new Beef Bulgogi has a ‘sweet’ taste
TikTok users have personally tried the Beef Bulgogi from Trader Joe’s to review it and the taste of the dish impressed the majority of them.
It’s been sold at the superstore since last year and a pack costs $12.99. There’s also a vegan Beef Bulgogi available if you do not consume meat.
For the unversed, Beef Bulgogi is also known as Korean beef barbecue – a dish of thinly sliced grilled steak – usually had with fried rice.
The instructions to prepare the dish are simple – take it out of the package and place it in a heated pan with a little oil. Cook it on both sides for a couple of minutes and cover it for some time. As the exact duration for each step isn’t mentioned, use your best judgment.
The Koran dish’s sweet taste comes with the rather unique combination of puree used in its marination. It consists of pineapple juice, apple, and peach puree.

Just like Costco’s bao buns that got a 10/10, Trader Joe’s Beef Bulgogi is met with exceptional ratings.
One user said: “I recently tried this. It’s soooo good. A defo 9.5/10.”
