She explained: Now, right now, X out all of your standouts unless there is maybe one or two youre really into. Pay special attention to statistics that the algorithm will pick up on.
Such statistics included; jobs, universities, height, religion, ethnicity, beards, and hair color.
Once youve xd out a good amount of your standouts, send three to five likes, even if it means youre xing through people for 20 minutes, Genny continued. Then respond to your messages. This way we are hitting Hinge with the rejecting what we dont want, and then encouraging what we do want. Give it a try throught the weekend and youll see amazing results.

Does Hinge rank its users by attractiveness?
Earlier this month, Hinge chief executive Justin McLeod went viral on social media as he challenged the idea that his app ranks people based on attractiveness. You see, a lot of Hinge users were starting to believe that they are ugly.
I’m convinced I’m ugly because only unattractive guys on hinge like me, one person cried on TikTok.
Another said: Hinge will make u feel like youre a solid 2 cos the compatible recommendations, that look like they snuck onto earth is abysmal.
While speaking with Fortune Magazine, he said: We don’t really have an attractiveness score. For every person we have this sort of individualized taste profile of who you like and who likes you back, he told Forbes.
We look at who you liked and who’s liked you and who you’ve passed on and who’s passed on you and that just gives us a sense generally using machine learning to understand how likely you are to like someone and how likely is someone to like you back.
Still, many social media users felt like he had dodged the question, perhaps hinting that Hinge actually does rank users on hotness.
The whole rose standout concept made it sooooo evident that they have an attractiveness score, whether its called that or not, one person said, as another wrote, I feel gaslit.
