YouTuberRendon Dietzmannfaces arrest after he films himself speeding at 150km
Bragadocious YouTube personality Gixxer Brah, real name Rendon Dietzmann, could be facing arrest in connection to a now-deleted video of him allegedly riding a motorbike from Colorado Springs to Denver.
Speed demon Rendon Dietzmann has built up a neat following of a quarter of a million subscribers on his YouTube channel, Gixxer Brah, thanks to his outrageous and often reckless motorbike stunts. But social media appears to be Dietzmann’s downfall on this occasion, with reports stating that there is a warrant out for his arrest thanks to a video he filmed, uploaded to and subsequently deleted from his channel in 2023.
Warrant out for arrest of YouTuber Gixxer Brah, aka Rendon Dietzmann
Though the video no longer remains on the site, Dietzmann finds himself in hot water thanks to footage that appeared to show the rider careering down highways as he attempted to travel from Colorado Springs to Denver, a journey that would typically take around 70 minutes in a car, in just 20 minutes.
Dietzmann, 32, reportedly uploaded the video in September last year and among its viewers were the Colorado State Patrol, who are now looking to arrest the YouTuber for his reckless driving.
It is being alleged by the state patrol that Dietzmann was in breach of several laws and put “hundreds of people in danger”, with a warrant now out for his arrest.
In a statement, Colorado State Patrol Sergeant Troy Kessler said: “We care too much for those traveling on our roadways to ignore the blatant disregard for the safety of others.”
Dietzmann appears to respond to reports
Despite the calls for his head, Dietzmann appears to be rather calm about the ongoing legal situation, if his Instagram is anything to go by.
Responding to a local news piece on the matter on a story he uploaded on January 24, Dietzmann said of the footage of him riding: “Obviously edited. Clearly was going to speed limit”.
Dietzmann’s most recent Instagram post from January 16, a video in which he appears to be doing wheelies while riding down a freeway, has been flooded with comments from fans and followers asking about the situation and whether or not he has turned himself in.
It would appear at the time of writing on January 25 that, as Dietzmann continues to upload Instagram stories, he has not yet been arrested.
This was not Dietzmann’s first daring ride
This is not the first time Dietzmann has flirted with the law.
Just four months ago, Dietzmann went to the effort of answering a question we’ve all wondered at some point – “What kind of gas mileage do you get at 180mph?”, the answer to which he demonstrated as he weaved between cars and trucks on the freeway, while his speedometer crept closer to, and eventually beyond, the 180 mark.
Dietzmann has also challenged himself to feats of motorbike endurance in the past, famously once completing a 1,800-mile round trip from Texas to Colorado.
