When your chipmunk comes out of hibernation, the owner, whose name is unknown, captioned the post, showing how Squishy the chipmunk recognized the call. Squishy is one of 14 chipmunks on the property that the TikToker regularly feeds.
He approached the hole in the ground with nuts and acorns in hand, ready to call out for Squishy. It didnt take long for her to poke her head out timidly before rushing out to grab the offered treats. She immediately fit them into her mouth, as her human friend celebrated.

Squishys cheeks were completely full to the brim with acorns by the end of the clip.
The video was originally shared to TikTok in February 2022, but has recently been re-shared to a popular Instagram account where it has yet again gone viral.

The chipmunks are widely loved across social media, with 14 of them living on the TikTokers property. Dinky, Squishy, Mooshy, Sponegbob, Boris, Bubba, Stinky are among those chipmunks.
The TikTok account has over 14 million TikTok followers who watch along with their daily feedings. The owner told The Dodo in 2021 that the relationship with the chipmunks started when he purchased a bird feeder and put it in the yard.�
He visits them one by one each day. Since I have 14 chipmunks to feed, I never stay with one chipmunk for too long, he said. According to the homeowner, each chipmunk knows their name and has their own individual personality. He spends time with them individually after feeding them all, he told The Dodo.
