Police dumbfounded by egg-shaped UFO that ‘shot fireballs at their helicopter

Two Kentucky police officers were mind-boggled by an aerial sighting that occurred in 1993. They were flying a helicopter when they encountered an alleged UFO and what they experienced, if it were to be true, is too much for an average human to grasp.

Just like a lot of unverified UAPs, the one we are looking at today was never proven to be real or denied. But the two people who claimed to have seen the strange “egg-shaped” object believe anything is possible.

Police officers claim they witnessed a ‘UFO’ shaped like an egg

The alleged encounter between the Kentucky police officers and a supposed UFO is said to have occurred in March 1993.

A rare clip from their interview is available on KCRA, and it depicts the officers addressing the incident to the press. As the story goes, it was just before midnight on a Friday and the duo was flying the Jefferson County Police helicopter to a suspected break-in at a different part of the city.

Describing the appearance of the strange object, one of the officers said: It appeared like some kind of an egg or pear-shaped object with a glow inside.

When they directed the light at the object, it allegedly started flying towards the helicopter. It was only the size of a basketball, claims the voiceover narrating the incident.

It was reportedly moving at a high speed – as fast as 100 miles per hour, so the officers made sure they flew the helicopter at a distance while keeping the unidentified object within their sight.

The second officer said the UFO was flying at a speed he “hadn’t seen before.”

Strange object ‘shot fireballs’ at the police helicopter

Just when the police officers thought they were at a safe distance from the UFO, it turned around to face them and “shot three fireballs.”

The lights went off and the officer piloting the helicopter turned it around and the flying object “was gone.” in a flash.

The officer couldn’t make sense of what they witnessed and once they returned to the base, they made a full report to their senior officer-in-command.

The police couldn’t tell for certain what was it that they saw, but they remained “largely skeptical of the existence of the unidentified flying objects.”

“I believe in this Earth and people and anything is possible. that’s all I can say,” shared one of them, while the sighting remains unidentified to date.
