Starbucks customers go to extreme lengths to get the Pink Stanley Cup Quencher Tumbler

The Starbucks Pink Stanley Cup Quencher Tumbler is already a hit with fans of the viral cup brand on the day of its release. Some went to extreme lengths to get it, including queuing for eight hours.

Fans of the Stanley Cup reported arriving at the stores in the early hours of the morning, with videos showing customers in pajamas and blankets. Tumblers are already available at sky-rocketed prices on reselling websites like eBay.

The pink Starbucks Stanley Cup Quencher collaboration cup

Starbucks collaboration with Stanley Cup features a pink 40-ounce Quencher Tumbler in a hot pink shade with sparkles. Its the ultimate Galentines cup.

The cups were released today, January 3rd with little official news surrounding the release, other than via fellow collectors online.

Priced at $49.95, the cups are being sold exclusively at Starbucks locations inside Target stores.

Unsurprisingly, the Stanley Cup x Starbucks collaboration has limits on how many can be bought by each customer. Starbucks barista and tikToker @izzi.faas claimed in her popular video that customers will likely only be allowed to purchase one Stanley Cup each.

Customers woke up at the crack of dawn for the Stanley Cup

TikTok users have been sharing videos from their attempts to get the Stanley Cup on the release day, with fans like @_melymel_ starting at 6 a.m.

@itssandra.__ said she queued up for over eight hours to get her Stanley Cup but managed to do it.

As reported by FOX 4, several Texan customers began queuing outside Target stores in the state as early as 3 a.m. in a bid to ensure they could purchase the cup. When the outlet visited three stores this morning, the cups had already sold out in each location completely.

The Starbucks Stanley Cups are in such high demand that @izzi.faas claimed on her TikTok to only have 16 of the pink Stanley Cups delivered to her store. Staff were instructed to put four up on a shelf at a time, she said.

Stanley Cups Target Valentine’s Day collaboration

The Starbucks collaboration might be highly sought-after but its certainly not the only one. Last week, Target stores began stocking the official collaboration with Stanley Cups with different Valentines Day-themed cups, varying from the Starbucks Pink Stanley Cup collab.

Customers were caught on camera quite literally battling each other for one of the cups in-store.
