YouTuber PC Siqueira confirmed dead following investigation into alleged child imagery

The death of PC Siqueira came amid a police investigation into the YouTuber’s alleged possession of indecent images.

PC Siqueira, whose real name was Paulo Cezar Goulart Siqueira, was active on YouTube and social media up until just days before his death, despite being the subject of multiple investigations in recent years.

Death of PC Siqueira coincided with investigation

Siqueira, 37, was found dead at his Brazilian home by his girlfriend this week, in what is believed to have been a suicide incident.

The popular culture critic had amassed a large following on YouTube, but was facing allegations of pedophilia that dated back to 2020, when he was accused of possessing indecent images of a minor.

Siqueira had vehemently denied all allegations lodged at him and the Brazilian courts had not found sufficient evidence to prosecute him following an investigation in 2021, though a government official had confirmed earlier in December that investigations into Siqueira were ongoing.

Siqueira had still been actively posting

In spite of the allegations Siqueira faced, the late YouTuber continued to actively post to his channel and his social media accounts until his death.

Less than a week before his death, Siqueira posted a video discussing singer Avril Levein which garnered over 600,000 views and attracted several comments commemorating his passing.

The accusations made against Siqueira did cause divisions in the YouTube community, however, with several of his peers severing ties with him in recent years.

Siqueira had spoken openly about his mental state on a number of occasions and claimed to have made an attempt on his own life earlier this year.
