Women say rats have more rights than them as New York plans strange move
Women are complaining that rats have better access to proper healthcare after New York City unveiled its newest plans to tackle rodent overpopulation.
Rodents, pests, and of course, spiders, are a natural part of human existence that we mostly overlook. That being said, how to get rid of spiders is frequently appearing in search data so perhaps were not as comfortable with little critters as initially thought.

New York City has a rat problem
Estimates suggest that there are 3 million rats currently chilling out in the Big Apple. New York City has tried a number of control methods over the years, but a new plan might be the most outrageous yet.
In a rather bizarre move, the city council has approved plans to trial contraceptive pellets in special rat-accessible traps.
We cant poison our way out of this, we cannot kill our way out of this, Council member Shaun Abreu said in April.
The pills, called Contrapest, are said to prevent the rats from breeding for 45 days after consumption, the makers Senestech said.
The pellets work by inducing a sort of menopause in females while also limiting sperm production in males. On its website, Senestech claimed that the rat population could be reduced by a staggering 95%.
Shockingly, the plan has been somewhat approved by PETA, who said: Hats off to the council for taking this big step to save lots of precious little lives. PETA pushed the city and its self-described bloodthirsty rat czar to prioritize effective control methods like trash mitigation and birth control over cruel, lethal methods such as poison and suffocation.
Rats now have more rights than women, some have claimed
Over the last year or so women have watched as their bodily autonomy was challenged by the powers that be in Congress. Obviously, the most famous instance of his was the overturning of Roe V Wade which guaranteed access to abortion services.
Following the New York City rat news, many women have taken to social media with complaints.
No not rats having better access to reproductive healthcare than most women, one person penned on Twitter.
Rats AND women AND ESPECIALLY women rats DESERVE reproductive health care!!!! another wrote.
Someone else said: Forced sterilization is common in this country why are we surprised.
